Personal Utopia

Appendix 10

All subsequent chapters till the next "Appendix" chapter should be considered as part of a single appendix.

There is an implicit theme involved in all these chapters. There is an implicit progressions in all these chapters.

The rest of this chapter explains how to use the chapters in this appendix.

This Section Is For Humans Only

From Ideas to Candidate Advice

In all the chapters in this appendix, we will explore several ideas, each idea explores an aspect that has ties to leading a good life. Each section of each chapter in this appendix is an independent conversation that the reader can have in conjunction with the AI chatbot. So, when starting a new section, start a new conversation with the AI chatbot as well. Why? Because we do not want the chatbot to be influenced by our conversations from other sections.

That said, all these chapters are different from other chatbook chapters (named self-contained chapters or the standard chapters). While standard chapters contain the entire conversations, the sections in these chapter are not self contained conversations.

Each section starts with one idea, proceeds with the conversation through its paragraphs. After all the paragraphs in the section are explored in the conversation, one could either end the conversation, or one could continue the conversation with a few more pre-set questions that tie the ideas from the discussion with the idea of having a good life.

Since all these questions are the same for every conversation, I have collected all these questions in the section of this chapter titled Queries To Conclude Conversation. Use the paragraphs in that section after you exhaust the paragraphs in the appendix chapter's section to conclude the conversation about the topic indicated by the section name.

For conversation on some topics, just the first and last paragraphs from this section are enough. Of course, all these questions are indeed optional. You can pick just a few of them. You could even craft your own list of questions for concluding such a conversation.

The next two sections in this chapter are very short sections and are intended as an opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with this way of splitting the paragraphs of a single conversation. Both these sections "discusses" an idea, which forms the first part of each conversation. This part is different for each conversation. The next part is the same for each conversation, and its paragraphs are provided in the Queries To Conclude Conversation section.

The idea of "collecting the commonality into a separate part" originated in writing software; it is called refactoring.
