The phrase "stand and stare" refers to the beauty of everything around us. Have some time to admire it, enjoy it, and be thankful for it. Not everyone can enjoy what we take for granted.

In addition to "we have no time to stand and stare", we have no time to sit, read, and contemplate.

Moreover, we have no time to envision a better future, discuss it, and collectively progress.
