Self-Help versus Self-Sabotage

I would like to discuss Self-Sabotage vs Self-Help. In that context, I would like to chat. I am not using your services as a search engine. So, please do not provide me links to any material. Those links distract me and make me lose my focus. Are you ready?

The Basic Understanding

What Is Self-Sabotage?

What Is Self-Help?

Tell me the key differences between Self-Sabotage and Self-Help.

Situations

I would like to learn to identify situations involving self-sabotage; so that I can avoid self-sabotage. For that, give me several real-life examples of self-sabotage. I would like you to present each of those example as follows: First describe in situation of the example in great detail. Then present the situation in following four ways: as a monologue of the person doing it, from the perspective of an observer who describes it , as persuasive arguments initiated by self-sabotage and self-help to influence the outcome in the situation, from the perspective of an observer who provides a solution.

Give me all the categories in which you can provide such examples.

Give me a few examples in the category of dealing with failure.

Give me a few examples in the category of hubris.

The Ambiguity

An action be considered both self-sabotage and self-help depending on perspective. Why is it?

Before taking an action or avoiding an action, what questions should I ask to determine if I am engaging Self-Help or Self-Sabotage?

Usually avoiding something means doing something else. The thing that is being avoided could be harmful or helpful. The thing being done could be harmful or helpful. So, these questions need to be asked when doing anything. Right?

Instead of just doing something, if one consciously decided to do something, and before starting to do it asks those relevant questions, then it might be useful to avoid harmful activities.

Concluding Remarks

There is more to Self-Help than just avoiding Self-Sabotage. Explain this to me.

I would love to have a good life. I will try to avoid self-sabotage. I will try self-help. But, tell me what has philosophy got to do with it?

Can you summarize the key takeaways from this conversation?
