Personal Utopia

The Core Ideas

I am working on my vision of my personal utopia within current society. We will be discussing the core ideas of personal utopia, and I would like to chat with you. I am not using your services as a search engine, so please do not provide me links to any material. Those links distract me and make me lose my focus. Are you ready?

Of Averages

Can a person with average health have personal utopia?

Can a person with average wealth have personal utopia?

Can a person with average wisdom have personal utopia?

Of Roles

What is the role of physical exercise in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of intellectual exercise in achieving personal utopia?

Similar to physical and intellectual exercises, is there anything like mental health exercises?

What is the role of "work" in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of paid employment in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of unpaid volunteer work in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of learning and education in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of love and companionship in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of family in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of friends in achieving personal utopia?

What is the role of entertainment in achieving personal utopia?

Needs and Wants

Someone said to me that almost everything required to achieve personal utopia or a good life can be classified as either needs or wants. Is that true?

Compare and contrast needs versus wants.

If a person can satisfy their own needs and wants, then would this person be able to accomplish their personal utopia?

If a person cannot satisfy their own needs and wants, then would this person be able to accomplish their personal utopia?

Would it be fair to say that a person's ability to satisfy their own needs and wants is a necessary condition but not a sufficient condition for the person to accomplish their personal utopia?

Would it be fair to say that people need an adequate amount of money in order for them to satisfy their own needs and wants?

So it seems that money is necessary, but not sufficient for accomplishing personal utopia. Is that right?

If money is necessary for achieving personal utopia, then how much money do I need on a per year basis in my country?
